I know you are worried, I am sure she will do great though! I am thinking of her and I am glad you will update us. Why does your Hubby not agree with the spay? It is great she is getting spayed!

Don't worry. She'll be fine. I know how ya feel when you left her there. When we had to leave Radar to get neutered, they had to give him a shot of morphine just to calm him down enough to take him from us. He looked like we were never coming back!!! I was so worried, but the main thing is to keep in mind that this surgery is performed all the time. Be sure to give us and update.

Oh Elena, I feel for you girl!  I know it is a scary time for both dog and owner, but I am sure she'll be just fine.  You'll probably have more trouble getting her to rest and not lick her stitches when she comes home!  lol  It is an operation done under general so of course carries risks to an extent, but as many before me have said it is a very routine procedure for the Vet.  She'll be ok sweetie.  *hugs*

When I went to pick her up they told me that they had to repair her hernia has well.
Yesterday I cried so much! She was so tired but she couldnt sleep...she kept moving around in her bed...she couldnt find the right position...
I am sure she was in so much pain,I didn't get any medications and few times she screamed loudly.Apart from that, she had this blank, sad expression that really mad me cry.!
My husband kept telling Pixie:Its not me that took you there, your mum took you!

This morning she is much better, she is trying to lick her stitches so I am with her all the time.

I am sure she will be better in a couple of days!

Ooh, poor Pixie!  It sounds like she had a bit of a rough time!    You must've been so worried hon!  Oh, and give that husband of yours a good kick from me!  lol

I'm glad she's looking brighter today though, that's excellent news.

I am glad they got her fixed up. So even with them also fixing the hernia they didn't send her home with any pain meds? They should have. I hope she continues to do well and hopefully she will leave the stitches alone.
