Where do you all buy harnesses for your babies? I am having a hard time finding any small enough to go home with the pups. Thanks!

Well, I am in Canada, so I am sure that this won't be helpful at all, but I will try anyhow! I get little teeny "x"-harnesses from the local pet stores, do you have Bosleys? I find them there all the time. And I also have bought little kitten "H"harnesses, you can buy them with or with out matching leashes, and they work great too. I think I have bought one at Walmart before. Other than that I have a fabric one that looks like a little vest with bows on it, and it has a place to attatch a leash to it, with velcrow running up the belly, and it was awesome because it was so soft, i think I found it at Petsmart.

Radar has a few harnesses. I bought a harness vest for him custom made with a John Deere pattern. And, he also has a Buddy Belt that was ordered online as a Christmas gift. I know I'm not much help...LoL!

I found tiny ones at Petsmart and Pet$ence. They are the soft nylon kind and in all colors.

I've had similar trouble Karen, it's hard to find good ones that fit small dogs.  I've been using a classic Puppia on Ellie for a while.  It is very good and fits well, but Ellie doesn't much like it going over her head.

I'll be very interested to see what others come up with too!  I'd like to get Ellie another.

I had an inexpensive nylon one from a local pet store when I first got Corona, but she really hated it going over her head. We happened into a "specialty" dog store one day and found the Buddy Belt... it was fairly expensive, but it's leather, so it will last forever, lol. It doesnt have to go over he head, isnt near as obstructive/extensive as a normal harness, and you can actually safely lift your chi right up off the ground with it in case of an emergency.

I looked up Buddy Belts and of course there are NO retailers anywhere near me. Dare I ask how much they cost before I keep searching?

Mine was $40, though I've seen them available closer to the $30 mark. And I'm sure they can be ordered online.

You think you find it hard to get one?!  Try living in England!  It's an Ebay job shipped from the US and it'll cost me about £30/40, that's like $60/80!  Youch!  lol

I buy my puppia harnesses for my dogs from pitterpatterpaws. She has xsmall ones that fit my small Chuwee. She is a great lady to do business with. Here is the link. They fit my five pound chi and my 15 pound schnoxie very well.
