Hello Everyone! I am jess, I just found this place, was reccomended by somone "Jessie" from another forum!
I came in search of a good chihuahua forum in hopes to find someone to adopt a new rescue chihuahua we got in recently!
We rescued her from a puppymill, and she is very sweet! she is 3 years old. she has been bred from her first heat of around 7 months old, and up until we rescued her. She is NOT pregnant right now. She is still intact, we will require she be spayed upon adopting, or we will do it if the adopter chooses (that will be covered in adoption fee)
She is current on her shots, and dewormed. Very friendly, so far good with other dogs, although she has been a bit territiorial with our female dog, but I feel that wouuld be soved once she is spayed.
She is great with cats, and i have seen her with older children & she does well. The breeder (puppymiller) that had her has grandchildren, and they said she is fine with them...
They have close to 70 dogs that they breed, and we were fortunate to be able to pull 2 chihuahuas and a miniature dauchshund. The M.D. we have decided to keep, and the other chihuahua (a long hair) was adopted immediately!
We also have (in our family) an 18 year old chihuahua named sandy, who has cancer, but has lived with it for the past 4 years. as well as 2 great danes, (ice & mystery) and a beagle MIX (Jazmyn)..and our very bossy Boston terrier mix (Magic)
I hope to get to know everyone here better, and hopefully find someone who would like to add another chi- to thier house! She definately deserves a great home! we had adopted her out, but they said it wouldn't work, due to the fact she liked to investigate the yard, and they didn't like her not wanting to be inside ALL of the time!
Welcome to the site, glad you found your way to us. I hope that you become an active member in Crossing, we love all of our new members and appreciate every member we have. I hope that you find your chi a forever home! and again welcome to Crossing.
