Hey guys... nice to see some familiar faces here. My name is Lori and we have a 5 month old cream colored Chi Ivy, and just got our new 10wk. pup Willow a little Silver. I will share pics soon. Ivy and Willow are adapting. Ivy does not care for her at all lol!! Hope it gets better.
Hi, welcome to you and your chi babies! Things most likely will get MUCH better with time. It can take a while for things to settle after a new furbaby is added to the family. I've def been through that before. LoL! Can't wait to see pics!
Oh.... I'm glad to hear that, because I was afraid I did the wrong thing by getting Ivy a little playmate. I think in the long run it will be best for both of them, and me!
Welcome! And yeah, just give it time...my Mom has a chi who we joke about calling her Sargent and things, cuz she is the boss lol!! She struts her stuff, and kepps everything in order. Well, last year Mom decided to get her a playmate, and Chica wasn't terribly welcoming at first, she tried to take a round or two out of the new addition, Lacie, who at the time was only about 2lbs and malnutritioned. Mom just about had a fit, and thought she would have to give Lacie up immediately. Well, didn't take long, now they are the best of friends, and Chica treats Lacie like her little baby and allows her to beat up on her now, it is so sweet. I also have three, and I never had any troubles introducing them to each other. Good luck, and be patient, lol!!
Thanks guys....well....things are looking up. They are playing really well, in fact Ivy wants to play even more than Willow right now. She is caught a little of guard I think of her attitude change rofl!!!
Hi Lori, I am sorry I missed this posting on Monday. Hope you are liking it here. The pups will adjust. Abby was 2 when we got Roxie and it took weeks....But with your being just 5 months old they should be best buddies before long. Welcome to the group.
welcome it only takes a few days and they will be best buddies. glad that u joined the group and hope to see pictures soon of those beautiful furbabies.
