Ok, I don't have all the information, or the time this morning to do all the research, but I will tell you what I do know. Rollover brand (now this is where I am confused) pigs ears, and I think maybe pork treats (these might just be the same thing), have caused cases in Canada of salmonella, almost killing a teenage boy. I think he had simply handled the ear giving it to his dog, then got extrememly ill, and the doctors weren't able to figure out what he had (two very rare strains) until it was almost too late. From what I understand, these treats were made in Calgary, Alberta, and as far as I know, (not positive) only sold in Canada. Sorry for all the sketchiness, but hopefully you have enough info now!
