Hello!

I have posted a few questions already and by the way thanks for all the feedback - greatly appreciated!! but i didn't see this part of the website to introduce myself until now. I am actually a new chi owner - my first as well and i absolutely love him! He will be 9 weeks old tomorrow and he was the "runt" of the liter so right now he only weighs 1-1/2 pounds and he will probably only get to be about 4-5 pounds!! His name is Boomer - we call him Boo or Boo-Boo (and all the other silly names we come up with!).

I think website is GREAT!!!!!! you have done a great job!!!! i look forwarded to chatting with all of you and learning everything i can about chi's because like i said - this is my first!!!!!

Thank you!

-Kris

Hi again Kris!  Welcome to teh family, we're thrilled to have you here!  Boomer sounds, and looks, like a doll!

From your description I wouldn't be at all surprised if Boomer ended up weighing less than that.  My Ellie was 2lbs at 8 weeks, and at adult weight she is 4.8lbs.  Whatever size he ends up I have no doubt you will adore him!  It's hard though, sin't it?  Puppies are tough for the first few months!    But you're in the right place for this period as there are a lot of knowledgable and exxperienced members here to help!  We even have a Vet Tech!

Anyway, sorry I rambled on there!  Welcome again, I look forward to hearing all about Boomer!

x

Jess

Thank you! I have already learned alot in just the few hours i have spent on here the past few days which has been a big help to me!!!

It is a little rough right now being that we work during the day so the house training isn't going that great - but we are dealing with it the best we can!!

It is so amazing how fast a puppy can just fit right in to your family. I feel like we have had him for so long and its has not even been a month yet! I look forward to chatting with all of you and i really love looking at all the different chi's! They are all soooooooo..... cute!!!!
