One of the babies licks inside the others ears, is this normal?  Is this healthy?

Mine do that to each other ALL the time. Caleb would like to live in Gabby's ears for some reason. LOL If you are concerned, take a peek and a sniff. If they look clean and don't smell like yeast or funk, I think it's just a chihuahua thing honestly.

Tucker is my ear licker!  He licks Sparky's ears and Tony (the cat) too if he'll stand still for it.  Sometimes it really looks like they are loving having it done to them!  Sparky will lick Tony's ears too, but not Tuckers??  How funny is that?

Chloe is our resident chi ear licker... she will sit and chew on Rylie and Madison's ears until we stop her... it is so gross when one of them brushes against us with sopping wet ears!

Ellie licks ears too, but with her it's James' ears!  lol  I'd have thought that your pup's habit is pretty normal, unless there is something wrong with your other dog'd ears.  Just give them a check over to make sure there's nothing nasty there, like an infection or ear mites etc.  I cant think of any reason why it would harm either dog if the ears are clean and healthy.

By the way, I dont think I've seen you here before, you a newbie?  If so, welcome aboard!  We have an introduction forum which you could post in if you wanted.

Thanks for all the replies, I just have never seen a dog do this, she looks like she is trying to clean their brains the way she gets in there.

We tell her all the time that she is not the resident ear doctor but she still thinks that is her job.  As long as there is no harm, I guess she can just be the appointed cleaner.

And yes, Jess, I am a newbie....I tried to post my intro and was almost finished and somehow I deleted it , so I gave up until I have time to rewrite it.   I will try and get it done soon.

When we are home, Radar will sit and lick Daisy's ears. I never thought much of it myself. Although it did kinda gross me out at times. But, maybe it is just a chihuahua thing, we seem to have alot of ear lickers here!

KC, I'm forever doing that! Writing a long email or whatever, hit some button by accident and suddenly the screen goes blank! Argh! Sooo annoying, isn't it?! No worries about it though, get round to it (or not) when you've got the time, and more importantly the head of steam to type it all out again!
